DIY NORTHWOODS WEDDING

Did you catch our latest feature on Wedding Chicks? Kirsten and Graeme's Northwoods wedding was recently published - showcasing fabulous DIY elements (check out the dog "collar"), stationary designed by the bride, and florals designed by yours truly.

The highlight of this wedding was the FREE photography package provided by Rivets and Roses! Kirsten and Grahm were the lucky winners of Rivets and Roses give away last year. With Louisa Podlich behind the camera, you can not go wrong.

This bride! This groom! This wedding! We had the best time planning and scheming with Alissa and Mark. These two perfectly combined DIY elements, awesome decor from BHLDN and modern florals to make for one picture perfect wedding. 

We loved how unconventionally fall this autumn affair was - mixing major vintage style with sophisticated color. 

Thankfully Canary Grey was there to capture all of the magic and 100 Layer Cake put together an awesome feature on their blog. Enjoy!

MARRIAGE EQUALITY IN MINNESOTA

Given the momentous week we've had in Minnesota, it seemed fitting to (finally) share this post.

These two ridiculously motivated, talented, hands-down-awesome ladies not only concepted all the details for their wedding, constructed all the DIY elements, and collected all the vintage vessels - they also literally BUILT the venue where it was held.

Feeling incredibly lucky to know these two women and to live in a state that has recognized LOVE IS LOVE!!!!

Alyson and Jesse's wedding has been featured in Style Me Pretty's Fashion and Beauty Magazine and Minnesota Bride Magazine.

Now Alyson also operates her own Event Planning and Coordination biz called Bash Collective. Needless to say, they do ah-mazing work and we partner with them often.
