MARRIAGE EQUALITY IN MINNESOTA

Given the momentous week we've had in Minnesota, it seemed fitting to (finally) share this post.

These two ridiculously motivated, talented, hands-down-awesome ladies not only concepted all the details for their wedding, constructed all the DIY elements, and collected all the vintage vessels - they also literally BUILT the venue where it was held.

Feeling incredibly lucky to know these two women and to live in a state that has recognized LOVE IS LOVE!!!!

Alyson and Jesse's wedding has been featured in Style Me Pretty's Fashion and Beauty Magazine and Minnesota Bride Magazine.

Now Alyson also operates her own Event Planning and Coordination biz called Bash Collective. Needless to say, they do ah-mazing work and we partner with them often.

Though we drive each other nuts sometimes, and I think your favorite saying is: Well I don't like it, but it's very  "you" , the day-to-day would not be the same without you, mom. Thanks for all your love, support, patience with Quickbooks, Target shopping trips, and lunches at (cringe) Baker Square. ;)

COZY EDITORIAL SHOOT

In the midst of wedding season, sometimes it's nice to reflect on the "other" season. Because, you guys,  we also do "non-wedding" stuff - engagement sessions, editorial shoots, styling, etc. (See below.)

The motivation behind this editorial project with Laura Ivanova and Jesi Hoolihan from Snow White Effect was to showcase an adorable couple in their adorable home. To make things more adorable, we added flowers. Everything is better with flowers, right?
