Vegetarians BEWARE.

This weekend we celebrated the launch of our website with a family BBQ.  The star of the afternoon-- a 10 pound pork shoulder roast.  Since my life basically revolves around food, I'd been gearing up for this event all week.  Accompanying the roast pig (that took 9 hours to cook) was homemade apple coleslaw, fried plantains with brown sugar, and corn bread (also homemade of course).  Add a bottle of my local favorite, Crispin Cider and a whole day of sunshine to get the perfect spring day.
